Our Facilities
The Welsh Padel Centre has three covered padel courts. It should be noted that these are not totally rain proof - if there is a breeze the rain will find it's way in.
There is a small club house with vending facilities and two (single person) toilet/changing/shower rooms - one female and one unisex and accessible. BTW: we do not provide any body wash or shampoo so, if you are showering, please bring your own.
We don't sell alcohol, but you are welcome to bring your own for a post-game beer or other tipple.
The facility is entirely automated and designed not to have staff on premise. Access is via a keypad or smart phone app and the court lights are synchronised with the bookings. There is a seven minute courtsey period before and after your booking.
Lights in the club house and toilets/changing facilities work on sensors and will automaticlaly come on when someone enters. Taps in the toilets/changing facilities work on sensors and will automatically shut off after a defined period of time. In fact the only water sources not controlled on sensors is the kitchenette tap in the club house and the showers - please be sure to turn them off!
Children
The facility is designed to be entirely automated and, as such, does not have staff present. Children under secondary school age are not permitted to play without direct adult supervision unless it is part of an organised group session specifically organised for children. Children of secondary school age may play without direct adult supervision, but the courts must be booked by a responsible adult who takes full responsibility for the children's behaviour and actions. There are currently no guest fees so, as long as the supervising/responsible adult is a member, there is no additional charge (over and above the court fee) for children to play. We do have children's loan rackets (free of charge) to cover children from the age of ~5 years.
