Frequently asked questions about The Welsh Padel Centre

There are various membership options which are described here (opens in a new tab). Membership allows you to book courts, bring guests (currently no guest fee), and to opt into various sessions such as social mix-in sessions, etc. Membership does not provide free access to the courts which are 'pay to play'.
In addition to opt-in social sessions which the club organises, we have various active WhatsApp groups which members can join. These include groups based on playing ability, availability (such as people who can play in office hours or at lunchtime), and other criteria. Members regularly post games in these groups which people can join.
Membership is constantly growing - it has grown by ~40% in 2024 alone. Because we do not currently charge a guest fee, we have a playing base which is wider than the membership. Our mailing list is currently over 1,000 people.
The centre does get busy during peak times which are weekday evenings 5:30pm - 10:00pm although availability varies depending on things like 1/2 term, school holidays, etc. Outside of those hours there is generally good availability. If you want to get a feel for availability, we suggest you register on our booking system (opens in a new tab - look for the green ‘sign up’ option below the log on option) (which adds you to the mailing list) and you will be able to see the bookings but not book.
Yes. Please read about Group Coaching Sessions here (opens in a new tab) and or meet our Coaches here (opens in a new tab).
The centre fields teams in the various padel leagues which operate both nationally and locally.
